18 Jan 2021 - 23 Jan 2021
We are excited and humbled to have been called by the Lord to be the FSY session directors for 2021. We are looking forward to being able to work with our wonderful YSA to join you, our amazing youth, on this spiritual journey together. We feel that this is going to be a fantastic opportunity to grow together as we strengthen each other’s testimonies of our Saviour Jesus Christ.
To the parents and leaders, please invite your youth to participate in FSY 2021. Our own children attended FSY as youth and YSA and have had great experiences. We encourage you to support your young people as they prepare to attend. We both believe that they will gain the most out of FSY if they take the time to prepare. We would invite each of our youth to read through the “For the strength of youth” booklet. This is a great starting point. We would encourage all who are participating in FSY to set personal goals for spiritual growth, as directed by the Spirit. FSY will be a lot of fun! You will have the opportunity to meet other people that you may not have
met before and build friendships that can last for a lifetime and beyond. We are very excited for the activities and experiences that will be had by all. Come with a positive attitude and a willingness to participate and you will gain the most from the experiences.
We want you to know, that we know, that Jesus Christ lives and is our Saviour and Redeemer. And, that through his Eternal Atonement we can return as families to God’s presence and be happy eternally.
We look forward to seeing you there in January 2021! Please know that we love you, and look forward to being with you.
Mark and Kerry Pemberton.
My name is Esther.
I’ve lived most of my church life in the Perth Dianella stake.
I work as a registered nurse and enjoy helping treat the sick and afflicted and nursing them back to good health. In my spare time I like to go to the gym and work on my boxing skills.
I served My mission in the El Salvador Santa Ana Mission. My primary calling was serving as the mission nurse specialist but I was also able to proselyte and teach the restored gospel in the Spanish language. My mission was truly humbling. Teaching so many people who believed in Christ but belonged to many different churches helped me strengthen my testimony of the truthfulness and importance of the restoration.
I am looking forward to FSY because I have such positive memories of attending FSY as a youth. I am also excited because I know we have so many amazing YSA councillors who have so much experience and enthusiasm to inspire the Perth youth. I know none of us will regret the decision to serve the youth and participate in FSY 2021.
I'm a big jokester. I love to laugh and especially at my own jokes (free High-Five if you get me to laugh). I work as a Tupperware Consultant and would love to tell you about our snazzy durable products. I love all the height advantage sports, playing games, studying engaging topics and singing in the shower.
I served in the Indonesia Jakarta mission. Loved it! Very grateful for the time and experience in the mission field. I learned and got to see, more in-depth that God loves and knows each of His children, and that everyone you'll ever meet has the potential to become as He is.
I've been to FSY as a youth and 3 times as a YSA leader, and I love it! It's the experience of seeing your relationship grow with friends, friends-to-be, and most importantly the Lord. Can't wait to meet you all!
